HOW TO GET HERE
FROM PERTH / WA
If you are travelling from Perth or Western Australia, we recommend you choose to travel by TransWA Prospector train, a relaxing journey that will assist you to make the gentle transition from your busy, everyday life to prepare to enter the bush. You can board the train at East Perth Terminal and alight at Southern Cross Station.
When booking your return ticket, (1300 622 205 or www.transwa.wa.gov.au) you will be departing Perth on Sun 2.10pm arriving 6.45pm and returning Friday 9.12 am arriving Perth 1.45 pm.
You can hire a vehicle from Southern Cross Rentals for the remaining 70km of your journey, or contact Koora Retreat to arrange a transfer.
FROM THE EASTERN STATES OF AUSTRALIA
If you are travelling from the east of Australia, you can fly into Kalgoorlie with Virgin on Sunday evening and return on Friday morning.
Quantaslink also arrives on Sunday at 4.40pm and departs on Friday via Perth at 12.35pm. You can hire a vehicle for the remaining 160km of your journey, or contact Koora Retreat to arrange a transfer.
If you are driving to Koora Retreat, it can be found 300m north of Great Eastern Highway at WGS 84, Latitude 31° 15’ 41.0” S; Longitude 120° 01’ 16.8” E. This is 70 km east of Southern Cross, 160 km west of Kalgoorlie.
The distance is 435km from Perth and can be travelled in 5 1/2 hours with added fatigue management stops.
